Run Safe Initiative
Now is the time to lead by example. While many athletes still find wearing reflective uncool or unnecessary, Nathan is hoping to change popular opinion with the promotion of its Run Safe Initiative. Before heading outside for a run, review the below checklist to see if you're ready to run safe:
- Stocked up on the latest reflective items? Reflective comes in all shapes and sizes, from bands to vests to stickers. Nathan offers a full line of reflective items, like the Flash Vest, which can provide up to 1200 feet of visibility - the distance needed for a driver moving at 60 mph to detect, react, and maneuver in time to avoid disaster.
- Have identification with you? Carrying I.D. on you can help quickly direct emergency personnel to important contact info should you need assistance. Nathan's new Reflective Belt features an incorporated I.D. card and I.D. stitching that directs people to your information, and also prevents you from having to remember to get your I.D. from your wallet. 360-degree reflectivity, high-visibility ANSI yellow material, and 3M Scotchlite reflective detail make this all-in-one belt a must for road warriors.
- Carrying a phone with you? Injuries, accidents, and emergencies can strike at any time. If you're in a low-traffic area, a cell phone may be your only contact to immediate help. Nathan's new Shadow Pak, in addition to having an incorporated I.D. card and I.D. stitching, features a Power Stretch Mesh gusseted pocket that can hold any size cell phone securely in place.
